Ally Courtney is 5 years old and a Kindergarten Student at Centerton Gamble Elementary. On March 6th she went to the ER in Rogers because her tummy hurt. They ran a CT scan and noticed she had a Wilms Tumor (Kidney Cancer.) They sent us straight to Children’s Hospital in Little Rock that night. They arrived at Children’s around 10pm and on Monday March 9th they removed her left Kidney and part of the colon. She stayed in the hospital 8 days and got her first round of Chemo. They were home for 6 days when they had to return to Little Rock due to very high fever. She will have Chemo every week for 10 weeks then every 3 weeks for 6 months. We will have a CT on April 28 to see if she still has cancer on her lungs also. If she does she will have 2 weeks of radiation at Children’s Hospital as well as the Chemo.
